Resumo
O presente estudo é uma revisão sistemática que objetivou analisar as evidências disponíveis sobre a Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental em adolescentes com transtornos alimentares segundo o gênero, considerados como alterações psicopatológicas relacionadas à ingestão de alimentos, peso e imagem corporal, que podem ter sérias consequências físicas, emocionais, sociais e inclusive levar à morte. Para tratá-los, a Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental é um dos principais procedimentos e centra-se na identificação e modificação de pensamentos e comportamentos alimentares desadaptativos. Para a revisão de artigos, foram coletados estudos nas bases de dados Scopus, PubMed e LILACS, realizou-se a triagem com a plataforma Rayyan e a qualidade metodológica dos estudos foi analisada por meio das diretrizes CASPe. Os principais resultados assinalam que os fatores culturais e cognitivos relacionados ao gênero influenciam a resposta ao tratamento, refletindo-se nas preocupações e sintomas dos pacientes, embora tenha sido encontrada uma lacuna de conhecimento na pesquisa com homens e outras identidades de gênero. A presente pesquisa foi financiada de forma autônoma e não recebeu auxílio externo.
