Resumen

El presente estudio es una revisión sistemática que tuvo como objetivo analizar la evidencia disponible de la Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual en adolescentes con trastornos de la conducta alimentaria según el género, considerados como alteraciones psicopatológicas relacionadas a la ingesta de alimentos, peso e imagen corporal, que pueden tener serias consecuencias físicas, emocionales, sociales e incluso llevar a la muerte. Para tratarlos, la Terapia Cognitivo Conductual es uno de los principales procedimientos y se centra en la identificación y modificación de pensamientos y conductas alimentarias desadaptativas. Para la revisión de artículos se recogió estudios en las bases de datos de Scopus, PubMed y LILACS, se realizó el cribado con la plataforma Rayyan y la calidad metodológica de los estudios fue analizada mediante las guías CASPe. Los principales resultados señalan que los factores culturales y cognitivos relacionados al género influyen en la respuesta al tratamiento, reflejado en las preocupaciones y síntomas de los pacientes, aunque se encontró un vacío de conocimiento en la investigación en hombres y otras identidades de género. La presente investigación fue financiada de forma autónoma y no recibió ayuda externa.
