Resumo
A Inteligência Artificial surgiu e rapidamente se tornou uma ferramenta importante para a aquisição e o desenvolvimento do idioma inglês. Oferece um grande número de ferramentas e plataformas que melhoram o processo de ensino e aprendizado. No entanto, ainda não se sabe quanto tempo esses aprendizados duram e se eles podem se tornar duradouros para os alunos, bem como as implicações pedagógicas que eles geram quando aplicados em sala de aula. O principal objetivo desta revisão da literatura é examinar o impacto da Inteligência Artificial no aprimoramento do aprendizado da língua inglesa. A revisão sintetiza os resultados de vários estudos que avaliam a eficácia da IA no aprimoramento das habilidades de escuta, fala e escrita. A pesquisa emprega uma abordagem qualitativa com um escopo descritivo, no qual seis critérios foram usados para selecionar os artigos a serem incluídos. Os resultados dessa pesquisa demonstraram que determinadas ferramentas de IA, incluindo LyricsTraining e Praktika, melhoraram a compreensão auditiva e a capacidade de expressão oral dos alunos, enquanto o ChatGPT ajuda os alunos a elaborar documentos acadêmicos organizados. No entanto, os resultados da revisão da literatura mostram que a Inteligência Artificial deve ser implementada no modelo educacional atual como uma ferramenta extra para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, em vez de ser implementada como meio principal de ensino. Para atenuar as limitações apresentadas pelo uso da Inteligência Artificial de forma eficaz, é necessário desenvolver uma estrutura educacional abrangente que equilibre a tecnologia com a instrução pessoal. Deve-se estabelecer um modelo educacional que se adapte a eles.
