Resumo
A participação esportiva em adolescentes é determinada por fatores psicossociais que influenciam sua continuidade ou abandono. Este estudo examina o impacto do apoio da família, contexto escolar, condições socioeconômicas, influência dos colegas e gênero no esporte. Através de uma revisão sistemática dos estudos indexados desde 2015, o modelo de prisma foi aplicado para selecionar pesquisas sobre atividade física e fatores psicossociais em adolescentes. Os resultados indicam que o apoio da família é essencial para permanecer no esporte, enquanto um ambiente escolar com programas estruturados e treinadores motivacionais facilita a adesão. As limitações econômicas dificultam o acesso de esportes organizados e a influência dos colegas juntamente com as redes sociais motiva a participação. Além disso, persistem as desigualdades de gênero que afetam especialmente os adolescentes. Conclui -se que as estratégias devem incluir apoio familiar, equidade de gênero, acesso à infraestrutura e uso de redes sociais para promover a atividade física.
