Resumen
El estudio de centra en evaluar la formación profesional, el desarrollo de las actitudes hacia la capacitación y competencia laboral de los empleados del GAD del cantón Latacunga. Se aplicó una encuesta a 80 servidores públicos de la institución sustentado en un enfoque cuantitativo – tipo correlacional. Los resultados indicaron que existe una asociación positiva significativa entre la formación profesional, el desarrollo de actitudes hacia la competencia laboral (H1 ?b= 0.864; p=0.000). Lo que sugiere que, a medida que se mejora la formación y el desarrollo de actitudes, también lo hace la competencia laboral. Desde la perspectiva administrativa, estos resultados son muy relevantes para la política del talento humano y desarrollo profesional. Este enfoque es estratégicamente prudente para mejorar la competencia y eficacia del servicio público. Se concluyó que, las herramientas efectivas, la comunicación y el reconocimiento de los niveles jerárquicos son factores determinantes en el desarrollo de actitudes.
