Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a relação entre exaustão emocional, despersonalização e realização pessoal na síndrome de burnout de professores em uma instituição educacional. Usando um projeto quantitativo, o questionário Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) foi aplicado a uma amostra de 85 professores. Os resultados mostraram que a exaustão emocional foi o principal preditor do burnout, com uma correlação significativa de 0,832 (p < 0,001), seguida pela despersonalização, com uma correlação de 0,571 (p < 0,001). Entretanto, não foi observada nenhuma correlação significativa entre realização pessoal e burnout (-0,055, p = 0,617). Esses resultados destacam a necessidade de implementar estratégias que reduzam a exaustão emocional e promovam maior realização pessoal entre os professores. Conclui-se que as instituições educacionais devem priorizar intervenções que abordem o bem-estar emocional dos professores para evitar o burnout e melhorar o ambiente educacional.
