Abstract
The present study examines how transformational leadership influences warehouse management at the Municipal Public Company of Mobility, Transit, and Transportation of Cuenca (EMOV EP) during the year 2025. The research was conducted using a qualitative and applied approach, employing semi-structured interviews with all personnel in the area, along with the review of institutional documents and specialized bibliographic sources. The results show that, although the team recognizes in their supervisors qualities such as honesty, organization, and fair treatment, a traditional leadership model still prevails, characterized by limited delegation of responsibilities, lack of incentives, and scarce feedback. These limitations affect inventory control, training, and technological integration, resulting in poorly standardized processes. Nevertheless, it was identified that human talent management and decision-making are essential factors for achieving more efficient organizational performance. It is concluded that the comprehensive adoption of transformational leadership can increase staff motivation, improve resource utilization, strengthen transparency in the management of public assets, and consolidate an institutional culture focused on efficiency and service quality.
