Abstract
This study examines how the implementation of the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) is perceived in a call center dedicated to collections in Quito, Ecuador, with the objective of analyzing the impact of project management on the implementation of the LOPDP in a call center for collections in Quito, Ecuador. Using a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive research approach, applying a validated and reliable scale, and carrying out an exploratory factor analysis to determine the underlying dimensions of the construct under study. To verify the internal consistency of the test, the Cronbach alpha coefficient was used in a sample of 46 employees. The results showed the existence of two main factors related to organizational compliance and perceived impact of the project, which revealed high reliability. The developed scale also proved to be a valid and reliable instrument for regularly monitoring institutional perceptions about data protection. Finally, the study provides a useful tool for assessing progress in regulatory implementation, emphasizing the importance of strategic management and continuous assessment to ensure regulatory compliance.
